The Medieval Castelo de Beja.  A small castle with free entry within its walls, there is a charge to go up the tower. Beja is the capital of Baixo Alentejo which the lower part of the Alentejo region, not far from the Spanish border. Monday Morning Photo - Menorah in Arjona´s Jewish Quarter, Jaén

The Menorah on the edge of the Jewish Quarter in Arjona, with some of the olive groves of Jaén province in the background and the conical hill (always a welcoming sign of nearing home) of Martos.
