The Wild Asparagus Hunters are Out and About

It´s that time of year. Cars parked in odd places, the solitary person - usually a man, popping up above a bank or from behind an olive tree. The hunters of the wild aparagus are here. Rainy Easter Week

Yet again the glorious sunshine has taken a break for Easter week the time when almost every church in every town in Spain take to the streets with their Semana Santa or Holy Week processions.

Many have been avidly watching the forecast and the skies and since last Sunday, Domingo de Los Ramos or Palm Sunday many have ventured forth without hassle others have been on tenderhooks with last minute decisions to go or to cancel.

My local forecast says not a drop of rain after Friday - the last day of parades. So whether the ´crucifixion´ or Passion Play tonight jueves santo, Holy Thursday, in Fuensanta will take place or not we´ve a few hours to wait yet.
